Parish Work Party Saturday

Saturday April 4th Work Party at the Church of the Redeemer
 
Arrive ready to work 10am- 4pm, with ½ hour for lunch provided by parish
council.
 
All Auxiliaries should have everything prepped. (bought) Many hands make
light work.  Call, email, and encourage all parishioners to be there.
 
SOYO- will clean, trim, plant and paint the Cross on the hill to beautify the
grounds.
• Each teen will bring 2 bags of gorilla hair mulch and 1 flat of spring
flowers to plant. They will bring their own shovels and rakes and gloves.
 
Parish Council- will work on the new storage room organizing and labeling
shelves and going through boxes to get rid of what we don’t need.
• Each member will bring 2 shelving units and food for the potluck.
 
Men’s Fellowship- will paint the storage room, fix electrical problems, clean
and put away all equipment left out, putting up light in other storage room.
• Buy 2 plastic storage units to put up against the outside of the back of
the hall and old church, 2 flood lights, and 2 fluorescent lights.
 
Women’s Auxiliary- will touch up paint in church, clean kitchen and hall and
all refrigerators, clean narthex floor and sand pits.  Make or buy pretty
valances for hall windows.
• Each bring their own cleaning equipment and polish, buy fabric or
ready made valances and rods to hang them to match roses above
windows. 
 
Henry will patch roof of Hall.
 
Hala E. will measure and order blinds for hall windows and doors
 
Bachar Al Haddad will buy the fuse box cover for the storage room that is
missing and install.
