This will be the last Akathist, Madayeh service of Great Lent this year, and will be followed by Bible Study in the Church Hall.

Bible Study (Church Hall, from Apr 03, 2009 07:30 PM to Apr 03, 2009 09:30 PM)

Sessions are directed by Father Samer, and held on the first Friday of every month; men and women are welcome. Recently we have been meeting on the third Friday of the month as well. This Friday, it will be held after the Akathist, Madayeh service. We are reading in Chapter 1 of the Gospel of John. See the attached study questions.

Arrive ready to work 10am- 4pm, with ½ hour for lunch provided by parish council. All Auxiliaries should have everything prepped. (bought) Many hands make light work. Call, email, and encourage all parishioners to be there.

We will have the 40 day Memorial Service for Andrew Segal at the end of Liturgy this Sunday, and there will be a special coffee hour in his memory. Memory Eternal!

This will be the last Presanctified Liturgy of Great Lent, and will be followed by a potluck in the Parish Hall.

Food Festival 2009 Committee Meeting (Church Hall, from Apr 08, 2009 08:30 PM to Apr 08, 2009 10:00 PM)

On April 8th after Pre-Sanctified Liturgy, we will have a meeting in the church to assign committees and plan for this year's Food Festival. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Please contact Nabil or Basma Batmani if you cannot make the meeting but wish to be a part of the planning committee.

Holy Unction Service after Sunday Liturgy (Church, from Apr 05, 2009 12:00 PM to Apr 05, 2009 12:30 PM)

The students will have a special Holy Unction Service after Liturgy. The Holy Unction, one of the seven sacraments, is given once a year on Holy Wednesday. Fr. Samer added this special service for the children since many are unable to attend night services.

On Holy Thursday, there will be a Vesperal Divine Liturgy in the morning.

Holy Thursday - Twelve Passion Gospels (Church, from Apr 16, 2009 07:00 PM to Apr 16, 2009 08:30 PM)

The twelve Passion Gospels are read during the Holy Thursday evening service.

There will be a Divine Liturgy Service on Great and Holy Saturday morning.

All Night Vigil by SOYO (Church, from Apr 17, 2009 08:30 PM to Apr 18, 2009 09:00 AM)

The SOYO group will be having an all-night vigil, beginning after the Lamentations service.
